Director General of Gilan Fisheries Visits Pishgaman Iranian Aquaculture Complex in Rezvanshahr

Engineer Dadashpour, Director General of Gilan Fisheries, accompanied by Engineer Shad, the province’s Deputy for Aquaculture, and Engineer Zohrabi, head of the Rezvanshahr Fisheries Office, visited Pishgaman Iranian Aquaculture’s cold-water fish farming complex in Rezvanshahr. The visit covered the fish grow-out ponds, recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), oxygen-production equipment, water-treatment and management systems, and the trout hatchery and juvenile-rearing center currently under construction. Company managers presented the complex’s production capacity, current operations, and development plans. They also explained progress on the hatchery project, which will produce two million juvenile fish annually and complete the company’s production chain. With annual capacity of 560 tonnes of trout, Pishgaman Iranian Aquaculture is Gilan’s largest trout-farming unit. Its expansion of water-recirculation systems, use of advanced oxygen-production equipment, and development projects support higher efficiency and sustainable growth in aquaculture. The visit concluded with discussions about the complex’s development capacity, work in progress, and ways to support aquaculture expansion in Gilan Province.
